Massage Therapy by Richard Schepper
Richard is a Licensed Massage Therapist with 24 years of experience. He is certified in both Medical and Sports Massage. Richard is also knowledgeable in Swedish Massage Therapy, Chair Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Release Therapy, Myofacial Release
Techniques, and Therapeutic Touch. Richard is an honors graduate of the Swedish Institute in New York City. As a faculty member there, he has taught Deep Tissue and Trigger Point techniques to licensed professionals in thier Advanced Studies Program. He has also taught Massage Therapy in the Continuing Education Department of Hofstra University. He has worked in New York health clubs and also maintains a private practice. Based on his experience as a working massage therapist, he invented and patented the Thera-Press, a deep tissue and trigger point release tool which is widely used by massage therapists, chiropractors and physical therapists.
